Log Procurement Department

The Lumber Procurement Department handles the collection, processing, sorting, and transportation of timber. Work in the forest is carried out using heavy machinery such as harvesters and grapples, as well as forestry vehicles like forwarders. Since the operation involves handling logs that are several tens of meters long and working from heavy machinery, strict attention is given to surroundings to always ensure safe operation. The logs transported to the factory are sorted using automated sorting machine, with those having a diameter of 22-44cm supplied as lumber inventory. In addition, scraps, sawdust, leftover materials, bark from the floor, C-grade wood generated within the factory are supplied as fuel to the Wood Energy Cooperative Association biomass power plant. Most of logs produced by the Department are consumed internally within the company.
